Show notes: 1) What is an accelerator with respect to start-ups? Why do we need accelerators? 2) How countries are coming together to enable and promote innovations, especially in the disability sector? 3) How communities and start-ups can help each other? Former by adopting technology, and latter by sticking around and being patient. 4) Why ruthless prioritisation is important for start-ups? 5) Among the Covid challenges for start-ups in the disability sector, main is fund diversion. But Covid has also enforced a new way of working through digital delivery, while opening new opportunties for innovations. 6) Why there is a increasing need for startups in the disability sector? 7) How the traditional method of NGOs is not sufficient to enable a fulfilling life for people with disability? Why there is a gap that needs to be filled with fresh insights and innovations that only a start-up can provide? 8) What is diverse product adoption? How the needs of people with disability cannot be generalised? Importantly, the proposed solutions need design help to satisfy diverse individual needs. 9) What it takes to build a start-up?
